“Just Enough” by Sr. Kimberly Porter, OSB

Have you ever had a busy season in your life when your “to do” list is a work in progress? A time when all the projects and commitments sounded doable until they all needed action at the same time? I have been living in such a month. This past week I made some headway and seem to have just enough time to accomplish the tasks.

I’ve grown in recent years to accept that sometimes in life we have “just enough” time or whatever is needed in that moment. My acceptance brings a sense of gratitude for people and experiences and softens the more frantic moments. I’m seeing God’s handiwork providing for what I need and opening my eyes to the blessings in my midst. Sometimes I need to savor the “just enough” moments so as to not miss what is present by wishing for what is absent. I pray you may have “just enough” of what you need at this moment whether it be time or something else.
