Sr. Agatha Fisher was born to Joseph and Anna Suhre Fisher and given the name Florence at her baptism. Florence was one of six children and entered St. Walburg Monastery on August 25, 1918. She received the habit and her new name on December 31, 1918. Sr. Agatha made first profession on February 10, 1920 and final profession on February 8, 1923. She celebrated her Silver Jubilee on January 27, 1945; Golden on June 3, 1970 and Diamond on June 7, 1980.

Sr. Agatha spent more than fifty years teaching children in the following schools:

  • Villa Madonna Academy 1918-20
  • St. Joseph, Crescent Springs (Grades 7 & 8) 1920-28
  • St. James, Brooksville (Grade 7,8,9) 1928-57
  • St. Therese (Grade 6) 1957-59
  • St. Francis Xavier (Grade 6,7,8) 1959-65
  • All Saints, Walton (Grade 4 & 5) 1965-66
  • Holy Cross (Grade 5 & library) 1966-71

After 1971 Sr. Agatha lived in the infirmary until her death on October 15, 1982.
