Current Ministry: Teaching three classes of Latin at Villa Madonna Academy.

Favorite quotation from Scripture: Since in one week in 1997, I was diagnosed as having breast cancer and a blocked artery, one of my favorite Scripture quotations is: "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Monastic life at St. Walburg Monastery: Monastic life here at St. Walburg Monastery brings me contentment and joy; it fulfills all my needs and desires.

What I value about community life: Everything, but in particular our prayer life (Liturgy of the Eucharist and of the Hours) and our Sisters. Some have said that "most people lead lives of quiet desperation." I think our Sisters live lives of quiet heroism.

What Benedictine women have to offer: The example of a way of living-of prayer, simplicity and charity.
